Cot Assist
Many German ambulances feature a cot assist system. These devices help load the cot into the ambulance (like a mechanical ramp); raise the cot upwards so the patient is at a more convenient height when the doctor and/or paramedic are in a standing position; and elevate the foot end of the cot into a Trendelenburg position.
