Trailer Hearse
A trailer hearse was a type of hearse towed behind a motorized vehicle. Brackets were fixed to the towing vehicle which was cross-hitched to the hearse. The undercarriage of the hearse has a cross-hitch (also called a crab hitch); all four wheels turn simultaneously and follow exactly the track of the towing vehicle.
This hearse was last used in 1949. Now in the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon.
