That's me and Lawrence Pow from Emerson. The ambulance service in Emerson was operated by the Volunteer Fire Dept, some of whom were employed as border guards. You would think an ambulance would be the ideal vehicle to smuggle contraband into Canada, but not at the Emerson crossing because some of the ambulance volunteers might be on duty and they would be curious about the features of a demonstrator ambulance and would want to look through the entire vehicle!
