Ambulance Service to Indigents

In 1935 the City of Saskatoon began paying $25.00 per month to Ambulance Service Company for ambulance service provided to relief recipients and non-pay calls to and from the City Hospital. The City subsidy was increased to $100 per month in 1936 and remained at that rate to at least 1949.
