Packard Combination

This Packard Super Eight or Twelve sedan was converted into a combination ambulance/hearse; probably by a Quebec builder. It features dressed-up hood side vents, a pillar mounted spotlight, a roof mounted siren, a bell that originated from an American-LaFrance fire apparatus mounted onto the front bumper, and a Quebec-style crucifix mounted onto the roof of the car for when it was in hearse mode. Standing in front of the car are Anthime Fortin and Dr. Yvon Fortier. Photo Musee De La Gaspesie.
