Static Roof Load Test
The Ontario Ministry of Health contracts required us to test our raised roof in order to be certified compliant. We took the Suburban, with roof substructure already attached, to a local metals business and placed weight equal to 1.5 times the maximum GVW of the chassis onto the roof. In this position all doors had to be operable.
