New Design Features
In order to reduce manufcturing expense, the Sprint was designed with a right hand door that served as both an emergency exit as well as an exterior compartment for access to the spare tire and oxygen cylinder. And the rear door was designed as a hatchback with a huge window. Our original intent was to only use this design feature as a marketing tool to attract attention to the new Sprint model, but customers were willing to try the hatchback feature so we continued building them that way.
