Crescent Ambulance
Ken Sawatsky and I began our new ambulance service at 6:00 PM on May 15/1971 (this was the one year anniversary of the time and day when the Ray's Ambulance manager fired Ken, Ronn Janzen, Gary Koop and me).
The roof on the 1968 Meteor had been raised by Charlie's Auto Body, Ken had installed the lights and siren and I had built the cabinet and jump seat.
Our temporary first car out was a 1963 Superior Cadillac that we leased from Sorensen Distributors in Red Deer AB.
