Frontline Horrible Workmanship

Buy This Image Now

We tried purchasing a few ambulances from Frontline in Florida because our cost to purchase them and import them into Canada was less than what it cost us to manufacture them here in Saskatoon. And on the surface they seemed to be good quality. But when we checked the 'behind the scene' stuff we found horrible workmanship. After we factored in the cost to recheck everything and to rebuild some items we weren't saving much so we soon discontinued buying from Frontline.

In this photo the Frontline worker attached the 'crash stable' oxygen cylinder retention bracket to the floor in the squad bench, with bolts that were only held in place with silicone!!! He should have drilled holes all the way through the plywood floor and through the metal frame underneath and then secured the bracket with bolts that were long enough to do the job. Instead, he drilled shallow holes in the plywood floor, applied silicone to the head of some short bolts, stuck the bolts into the plywood floor and then attached the bracket with the nuts!!! So much for being 'crash stable'!
