Terry Lange wrote: "Riverview operated a towing service in north Winnipeg for many years. Around 1966, they decided to expand into the ambulance business. They purchased this '57 from Sorensen Distributors as a pretty plain unit (single beacon only) and painted it in their company colors and added tunnel and fender lights."
