Old & New ARAN
The Roadware Corporation in Paris, Ontario had developed innovative technology for measuring pavement characteristics at highway speed, and had been searching for a vehicle better suited to their needs from a practical as well as a marketing perspective. They had noticed our Sprint ambulances in Ontario and decided to fly their engineers to Saskatoon to inquire if we could adapt our Sprint ambulance body to suit their needs. But during the tour of our shop they noticed one of our new aerodynamically shaped New Era ambulance bodies and immediately decided this was exactly what they needed.
The vehicle to the left is an old-style ARAN (Automatic Road Analyzer) built on a RV motorhome, the vehicle to the right is a new-style Roadware ARAN built by Crestline.
