Consort in a Barn
1961 was the first year Superior built the Consort model, a professional looking car on a beefed-up Pontiac Bonnyville chassis. 1961 also is the year Superior introduced the projectile-type applied warning lights for their ambulances. This coach originally was operated by the Russell Funeral Home in Beausejour MB. It may have been a hearse or a combination car and later converted to an ambulance by applying a beacon light and 1961 Plymouth taillights as warning lights. Photo from Brian Schuff.
