In 1979 we began manufacturing ambulances for one of our competitors, Sorensen Distributors of Red Deer AB. We knew going in, this was an arrangement that would not last, however it allowed us to continue gaining marketshare (albeit at a wholesale price level) and that was our primary objective in the three prairie provinces.
Spiritwood was one of the first to purchase a Crestline product from Sorensens.
