Crescent Ambulance Care
We built this ambulance for our own Crescent Ambulance Service. It replaced one of our station wagon ambulances that had primarily been used to transfer patients from hospitals in Saskatoon back to hometown hospitals or nursing homes throughout Saskatchewan. Equipped with a 454 engine, this ambulance was a joy to ride on long distance transfers.
In this photo it appears the jump seat has been folded forward or has been removed.
We sold this ambulance to the newly formed Melville SK Ambulance Society in 1976, and then replaced it with a new Suburban just like it (unit 0.12).
