1960? - Brothers Henry and Bill Leiman and brother-in-law Norm Warren purchased Veterans Ambulance and Prince Brothers Ambulance and formed Veterans-Prince. They also used trade names: Astorian, Crestview, Professional, St. James, Irish and 7 Oaks.
1960? - Don Irish formed Irish Ambulance and in the mid '60s sold to Veterans-Prince.
1960 - Gerald Maeren started Metropolitan Ambulance. He also used the trade names AAA, Amalgamated, Metro-Assiniboia, Metro-Fort Garry, Metro-West Kildonan, North Winnipeg-West Kildonan and St. Boniface
1960s - Saint Francis-Norwood Ambulance, Charles Berard
1960s - Don Irish started Reliable Ambulance, then purchased St. Francis
1965 - City of St. James Police were operating an ambulance
1966 - Ken Burdyny expanded his towing service and formed Riverview & Kildonan Ambulance
1966 - John Wylie formed Wylie's Rescue Ambulance
1967? - Doug James operated 7 Oaks Ambulance
1968 - The Leach Brothers ran a towing service and formed United Ambulance
1970 - Deer Lodge Hospital Ambulance was only used for veterans
1975 - City of Winnipeg took over all ambulances in the city. There were seven private services operating 17 vehicles and two police departments with several ambulances.
